From ancient times, Christians have made pilgrimages. In medieval times pilgrimages to Jerusalem were in favor. The purpose was to walk the traditional path of Jesus from His arrest, to His passion and death. Since not everyone could travel to Jerusalem, the church began to offer local pilgrim liturgies — the Way of the Cross.
We invite you to walk the Way of the Cross at St. Andrew’s every Wednesday in Lent immediately following our 11:30am midweek service.
