Introduction to the Gospel of Mark

Dr. Mark L. Strauss

Dr. Mark L. Strauss, University Professor of New Testament at Bethel Seminary, will join our Monday Night Study on Oct. 12th at 6:30 pm for a special presentation on the Gospel of Mark. Professor Strauss is a Biblical scholar specializing in the study of the Gospels, linguistics, and Biblical translation.  He has edited, authored, or contributed to over twenty publications, including his bestselling textbook on the Gospels: Four Portraits, One Jesus.  As a member of the Committee for Biblical Translation, Dr. Strauss is part of the team that oversees and produces the NIV translation of the Bible.  Besides being an accomplished scholar, Dr. Strauss is also a gifted preacher and presenter known for his ability to communicate Biblical truth to all audiences. We are truly blessed to welcome him to St. Andrew’s.
