Celebrating 100 years: 1921- 2021

Good Friday

30 Mar 2018 | 12:00 pm - 08:00 pm

Friday, March 30th

12pm Good Friday Service

The most important events in Christianity are the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Good Friday is a day of mourning in church, meditating on Jesus’ suffering and death on the cross, and what this means for our faith.

7pm Tennebrae Service

The Latin word “Tennebrae” means “shadows: “In the sixth hour and there was darkness over the whole earth until the ninth hour.” (Luke 23:44). The spiritual darkness Jesus experienced was conveyed by 4 successive events. The service of Tennebrae seeks to convey this sense of spiritual darkness.
