Daughters of the King (DOK)
At St Andrew’s, the Daughters of the King chapter is named after Hannah, the prophet Samuel’s mother. We gather monthly for prayer, fellowship and study. “Daughters” pray daily and we serve the parish and community by taking altar flowers to sick, bereaved or shut-in persons. Individual members provide prayer support and encouragement to newly baptized children and their families as well as leading Morning Prayer at the Little Flower Haven Assisted Living Home. We work together as a spiritual community to fulfill our lifelong vows of prayer, service and personal evangelism, striving to do all things with love.
All women of the diocese are welcome to attend. We are an international sisterhood with chapters in other countries.
